Description
This is a cover I painted for Ulisses-Spiele's new RPG rulebook, Codex Monstrorum. It's a large monster compendium I worked on in 2007. I was allowed to design a great number of the monsters myself, plus worked on others from the game that had never been illustrated before.

Oooh ooh... giant monster goodness! You don't see that done really really well anymore, so this is a treat!
Hmm... he just ripped off the bug monster's leg... I bet he's going to ram it into it's big insectoid face - just hardcore, like the equivalent of Beowulf if he'd used Grendel's arm to beat him to death.
Although, I don't trust that monster up in the tree, he looks like an opportunist, waiting to pick off the battered winner at the end!
